Italy’s mobility voucher for micromobility

In cities with more than 50,000 residents, individuals can receive reimbursement for bicycles bicycles, segways, hoverboard, scooters and monowheels or for the use of shared mobility services excluding cars. Individuals can be reimbursed 60% of the cost up to €500. Individuals are eligible for one reimbursement for purchases between 4 May 2020 and until 31 December 2020. In 2021, the program will further support sustainable mobility alternatives to the private motorcycles and cars. In addition, the decree extends the current legislation which provides for the financing of projects for the creation, extension, modernization and retrofitting of lanes reserved for local public transport including bicycle lanes.
