Traffic circulation: change of priority

Artist rendering of COVID experience
,
Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam

During Covid-19, people were asked to clear ways for emergency traffic. All major roads were closed and reserved for medical vehicles, army and police officers.

Checking permissions caused traffic jams and hundreds of people with their various vehicles were forced to stay in queues. Even with good hand hygiene, masks and protective gowns, everyone was afraid of getting or spreading the virus.

Yet we had no option in Ho Chi Minh City: everyone needed food, water and other necessities - and the wild rumpus continued for the weeks of August and September!
